Our Educational Approach

Classical Education

Classical education employs the Liberal Arts tradition that was formulated by the ancient Greeks, practiced by the Romans, and came to fruition under the influence of medieval Christians. The seven Liberal Arts are tools of learning and free thinking that were cultivated by the great minds of Western Civilization. These tools prepare students to be knowledgeable, logical thinkers and persuasive communicators. This form of education promotes virtue and the pursuit of goodness, beauty, and truth. The combination leads to wisdom. Students are equipped to navigate the complexities of the 21st century.

Academic Excellence

Rigorous academics and joyful learning go hand in hand. Students are challenged to reach their full potential, develop confidence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning.

Imago Dei

Every child is created in the image of God and has gifts and talents given by God. Each has a unique purpose for their life, and our goal is to help them discover and develop their gifts so they may successfully pursue their purpose.

Fellowship

Humans are created for fellowship, and learning thrives in community. Students will grow in their relationship with God, their teachers, and their classmates daily while interacting with the great thinkers of history. In this way, they will gain a profound appreciation for their place and purpose in the world.

Service

Learning to serve others and the community will be a natural outgrowth of this type of schooling. Growing in wisdom and knowledge will mean that students will grow in their love of God and their neighbor. There will be opportunities to apply this learning in service to others and their community.
